She says that her customers continue to vote with their spoon, raving that it is definitely the best honey that they have ever had.

With a passion and background in health, wellness, fitness, and holistic nutrition, owner Karen Insley has a deep understanding of the importance of health and wellness from the inside out.

Originally from England, Karen, her husband Richard, and their 4 English cats put down roots in Manitoba in 2004 and have resided in Sunnyside, in the RM of Springfield ever since.

Previously spending the majority of her time in the corporate world, Karen offered consulting and freelance education services to businesses, by providing mental health and emotional wellness workshops. As with many, the covid-19 pandemic has put an enormous toll on many lives and businesses, and Karen's business is one of them. When the pandemic hit, the corporate world was greatly affected, forcing a large majority of employees to become remote workers, ultimately resulting in a large negative setback for her business, and all of her corporate contracts were cancelled. Although devastating for Karen, this did not stop her, and she decided to expand her Bee business, and hence Clover Honey Pot was born.

Karen not only sells her bee's honey, but she incorporates their honey, wax, and propolis into a natural line of handmade skincare and bath products, as well as creating candles, gifts, artwork, charcuterie boards, and many other natural bee and honey products.

With her background in holistic health and nutrition, Karen prides herself on keeping her products as natural as possible, she does not use any sprays, chemicals, or pesticides on her acreage, and she organically grows a wide range of flowers, botanicals, fruits, berries, Clover Honey Pot, is an eco-friendly Bee Farm, owned and operated by Karen Insley, and is a true hidden gem, situated in Sunnyside, in the RM of Springfield, MB.

And, when it comes to Clover Honey Pot's honey, and people voting it as the best-tasting honey out there, Karen says it has nothing to do with her but that it all comes down to the hard work of her bees. But friends disagree and say the honey is so good because of the love Karen puts into her hives, how she is environmentally conscious of her bees surrounding, and how they maintain the high quality of the red clover that grows on their acreage.

Just one of MANY comments made by our taste testers and customers:

Hi Karen....OMG.....The honey that your husband delivered today is the Best honey I've ever tasted in 52 years of life. No kidding. The red clover taste is just out of this world. My wife and I had some lemon water, as we do every day, with some very strong ginger and we were very surprised (and just thrilled) by the prominent red clover taste still there. We are beyond happy. We love local, and we love your Bees. Thank you so much for all the wonderful healing properties you provide in your beautiful product. We will be customers for life. We go through a pail a month or so and will make a trip out to see you in the spring. Thx so much!
